Kerry Szymanski is the Founder and President of SassyBB. SassyBB offers private and semi-private sewing lessons in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
Ms. Szymanski shares her knowledge of business and fashion through teaching. She is a full-time Professor of Fashion Merchandising for the Art Institute of Ft Lauderdale. She is a published author with books including: How to Survive a Layoff, 2002; Advertising and the World Wide Web, contributing author, 1999. She also writes Gossip, a monthly newsletter for SassyBB.
Through SassyBB, Ms Szymanski has been involved with several charity and community events including the Ronald McDonald House, the American Cancer Society and Starlight Children's charities. In the spring of 2009, she was a judge for the Ms Hollywood USA beauty pagent.
She has several years of experience working in marketing for large corporations. Her experience includes retail, direct and internet marketing for companies such as Bally Total Fitness, Harry and David and Duty Free Americas.
Kerry holds her MBA from the University of Oregon and BA in International Relations from Syracuse University. International experience includes residency in Strasbourg, France, fluency in French and conversational Japanese. She is also a certified USPTA Tennis Professional and has over fifteen years of teaching experience focusing on club, collegiate and tournament levels.
